We would like to extend an enormous thank you to you for your participation in the 4th annual AIDS Run Colorado. We were pleasantly surprised to have an attendance of nearly 400 people - a crowd larger than last year’s - who came together to show their support of Colorado AIDS Project and more than 20 other HIV/AIDS service organizations who also benefit from the funds raised.

In a struggling economy, this year’s event met our expectations for donations, but we’re not done yet! Since the Run, we have raised an additional $11,000 on-line, and we’ve set a goal to raise another $25,000 by September 4. We’ll be running additional contests over the next two weeks for fundraisers to win great prizes, and of course, you still have a chance to win the $1,000 stimulus package courtesy of Denver Community Credit Union. All you have to do is be the top fundraiser by September 4, and you can take home the grand prize.

We hope you enjoyed the new additions to this year’s event including the Inaugural AIDS Walk Colorado Volleyball Tournament, the Celebration of Life Festival, the pre-party at Vinyl nightclub and the post party at JR’s Bar and Grill. We look forward to having you join us again next year as we continue to make this event even better.
